A new location on the first floor
The restaurant now glories in its premium location on the first floor of Zurich Convention Center. Its elevated position allows for the spacious panorama terrace which extends over the entire area of the Garden Room below and – far more importantly – reveals a unique view of Lake Zurich.

Inspiring interior design
Different areas – designed by GREGO, the Zurich studio for interior design – cater for guests’ differing requirements: here’s the relaxed lounge area that’s decorated in muted colours, and there’s the softly shimmering dining area. «The atmosphere, the interior design, the view over the lake – you simply have to experience this for yourself,» says Johannes Hermes, who (as Restaurant Manager) has been pulling things together at LUX Restaurant & Bar since the beginning of May.
A restaurant for everyone
Unlike the Convention Center and Tonhalle, which are visited by guests for selected events, the restaurant is a ‘walk-in’ zone that’s available to all, and at almost any time. On Sundays you can enjoy a copious brunch in cosmopolitan surroundings; equally, LUX Restaurant & Bar is the ideal place for pre- or post-concert drinks; and at lunchtime you can dine with business partners or friends and acquaintances. And what better place in Zurich for a beer after work than the panorama terrace at LUX Restaurant & Bar?
