Georgian National Ballet «Sukhishvili»

Founded in 1945 by Iliko and Nino Sukhishvili, the company is now led by the third generation of the family — the founders’ grandchildren. The dynasty has preserved and expanded its traditions, making Sukhishvili a symbol of Georgian art and cultural heritage.

For eight decades, Sukhishvili has captivated millions of spectators in more than 100 countries across five continents, performing on the world’s most prestigious stages, from the Metropolitan Opera in New York to La Scala in Milan. International press has called them the “Eighth Wonder of the World” (The New York Times), a “Hurricane on Stage” (Daily Telegraph), and an energy capable of bringing an entire audience to its feet (Le Figaro).

The performance is an explosion of emotion: virtuosic male dances, breathtaking acrobatics, soaring jumps and spinning sabres, alongside female performances filled with elegance, grace and nobility.
